The ROC at Calvary Baptist Church
A gymnasium, walking track, fitness center and game room in downtown Lexington, one block from the courthouse. Open to our neighbors, in the name of Christ.
You are welcome here.
The Recreation Outreach Center is part of Calvary's mission in downtown Lexington. For many of our neighbors, it is the first part of Calvary they meet. Our purpose is to reach people in our community for Jesus Christ and to promote fellowship within the church and between fellow believers in our community.

Room to play, room to rest,
room for everyone.
Every member can use every space below during open hours. Come as you are. There is a court, a track, weights and a game room, and every member can use all of it.
One membership. Every space.
Membership is a contribution to the ROC Ministries Fund, which Calvary established for one purpose: keeping the ROC open to our community. There is no contract and no join fee. Your first visit is free; bring a photo ID.
More than a gym
You are welcome as you are. On a weekday afternoon the floor might hold a UK student, a courthouse clerk on lunch, and two retirees who have played ping pong here for twenty years. Nobody is trying to sell you anything.
A membership card with a story. Every member carries an Andrew Card, named for the disciple who, having met Jesus, first went and found his brother. We hope you'll bring someone along, too.
A place that serves its neighbors. Clothed By Grace, Calvary's free clothing closet, is housed in the ROC. Open Mondays 5 to 7 PM and Wednesdays 11 AM to 1 PM, by appointment.
Plan your visit
Enter through the main doors on the Limestone Street side and check in at the welcome desk. First-time guests need a photo ID, nothing else. Free parking in the upper lot above the ROC, weekdays 7 AM–6 PM.
